Urogenital panel
General information:
Molecular - genetic research for causes of uroinfections such as frequent cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, pyelonephritis. In patients with unclear symptoms and negative microbiological results. The test also includes pathogens such as T.pallidum (Syphilis), Ureaplasma urealyticum, Ureaplasma parvum.
The panel also contains resistance genes that can guide the clinician toward appropriate antibiotic therapy.
The panel includes 25 types of bacteria and 4 resistance genes:
Acinetobacter baumannii, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Morganella morganii, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Candida spp, Aerococcus urinae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus agalactiae, Providencia stuartii, T. pallidum, Enterococcus faecalis, U. urealyticum, Proteus vulgaris, Serratia marcescens, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Corynebacterium urealyticum, Klebsiella oxytoca, Ureaplasma parvum, Klebsiella aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Citrobacter freundii
Genes: KPC- Carbapenem resistance, Van A/B-Vancomycin, Mec A-MecC- Methicillin Resistance, CTX-M-ESBL
