Mycoplasma & Ureaplasma DNA
General information:
In the presence of complaints and at the discretion of the doctor, material is taken for DNA testing, characterized by great sensitivity and speed. The examination includes:
- Mycoplasma genitalium
- Mycoplasma hominis
- Ureaplasma urealyticum
- Ureaplasma parvum
It is appropriate to test patients for accompanying sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, AIDS, hepatitis, syphilis. In women, it is desirable to do a Pap smear due to an increased risk of cervical cancer, as well as to do a pregnancy test.
