Laborexpres MAX
General Information:
Laborexpres MAX: Extended Laboratory Package for Comprehensive Health Assessment
The Laborexpres MAX package is an expanded preventive panel that provides a complete evaluation of overall health. It covers glucose metabolism, lipid profile, liver and kidney function, protein synthesis, inflammatory markers, hematological parameters, and mineral balance.
It is suitable for routine prevention, assessment of fatigue, weight changes, cardiovascular risk, metabolic disorders, liver and kidney diseases.
CBC‑22 (Complete Blood Count – 22 parameters)
What it represents: A comprehensive analysis of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Why it is tested: For diagnosing anemia, infections, inflammatory processes, and disorders of blood formation.
ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
A marker of chronic inflammation. Elevated in autoimmune diseases, infections, and rheumatic conditions.
CRP (C‑reactive protein)
What it represents: A sensitive marker of acute inflammation. Elevated in bacterial infections, trauma, and autoimmune processes. Advantage: Responds quickly and is useful for monitoring treatment.
Carbohydrate Metabolism
Glucose
The main indicator of blood sugar. Used to diagnose diabetes, insulin resistance, and hypoglycemia.
-
high – diabetes, metabolic syndrome
-
low – hypoglycemia
Protein Synthesis
Total Protein
Shows the total amount of proteins in the blood. Tested in liver disease, kidney protein loss, malnutrition.
Albumin
The main plasma protein. Low levels occur in liver disease, nephrotic syndrome, inflammation.
Kidney Function
Urea
End product of protein metabolism. Elevated in kidney failure, dehydration; low in liver impairment.
Creatinine
Marker of kidney filtration. Primary indicator for evaluating kidney function.
Uric Acid
Product of purine metabolism. Elevated in gout, metabolic syndrome, kidney disorders.
Liver Function
Bilirubin (total and direct)
Indicator of hemoglobin breakdown. Tested in liver disease, jaundice, hemolysis.
ASAT, ALAT, Gamma‑GT
Liver enzymes. Elevated in hepatitis, fatty liver, toxic damage, alcohol use.
Alkaline Phosphatase
Enzyme related to liver and bone metabolism. Elevated in cholestasis and bone disorders.
Lipid Profile
Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, Triglycerides
Key indicators of fat metabolism. Used to assess cardiovascular risk, atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome.
-
high LDL – increased risk of atherosclerosis
-
low HDL – insufficient vascular protection
-
high triglycerides – metabolic disturbances
Mineral Balance
Calcium (Ca)
Tested in bone disorders and parathyroid dysfunction.
Phosphorus (P)
Evaluates bone metabolism and kidney function.
Iron (Fe) and TIBC
Used to diagnose anemia, iron deficiency, and iron transport disorders.
Magnesium (Mg)
Tested in muscle cramps, cardiac issues, electrolyte imbalance.
% Transferrin Saturation (TSAT)
Transferrin saturation indicates the percentage of the transport protein transferrin that is saturated with iron. It is one of the most accurate markers for assessing the amount of iron available for physiological use in the body.
Urinalysis – chemical and microscopic examination
Used to diagnose infections, kidney diseases, metabolic disorders.
Sample Collection
Venous blood – in the morning on an empty stomach; first morning urine.
