Laborexpres ARTHRITIS
General information
This diagnostic package is designed for early detection and monitoring of inflammatory, autoimmune, and infectious processes that may lead to different forms of arthritis. The combination of tests provides a complete overview of joint health, immune activity, and potential infectious triggers.
Blood sampling is performed from venous blood, in the morning, on an empty stomach.
What’s included in the package?
1. Rheumatoid Factor (RF)
A key marker used when rheumatoid arthritis is suspected. Elevated levels may indicate an autoimmune process affecting the joints.
2. C‑Reactive Protein (CRP)
A sensitive indicator of active inflammation in the body. It helps assess the severity and activity of inflammatory processes.
3. Complete Blood Count (CBC‑22) + ESR
A full blood count with 22 parameters and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Provides information about inflammation, anemia, infection, or other accompanying conditions.
4. Anti‑CCP (Anti‑Cyclic Citrullinated Peptides)
The most specific marker for rheumatoid arthritis. A positive result strongly suggests autoimmune joint disease.
5. HLA‑B27
A genetic marker associated with autoimmune conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, and other seronegative spondyloarthropathies.
6. Antistreptolysin Titer (AST)
A marker for past or active streptococcal infection. Elevated levels may be linked to post‑streptococcal arthritis.
7. Chlamydia trachomatis IgA + IgG
Testing for chlamydial infection, which can trigger reactive arthritis.
8. Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme Disease) IgM + IgG
A test for Lyme disease — an infection that often affects the joints and may lead to chronic arthritic symptoms.
