The “Intestinal Infections” diagnostic package is suitable for patients of all age groups, including children, who present with symptoms of gastroenteritis such as diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, or general discomfort.

The tests included in the “Intestinal Infections” package are performed using combined laboratory methods that ensure high sensitivity and accuracy.

Cultural Stool Examination (Bacteriological Diagnostics)

The samples are inoculated on certified selective and differential media, allowing reliable isolation of the main bacterial causes of gastroenteritis, including:

2. Candida spp.

The Candida spp. test is not intended for diagnosing an acute intestinal infection. Instead, it serves as a marker of intestinal dysbiosis.
