Creatinine clearance (Cockcroft Gault Formula)

General Information:

Creatinine clearance estimates how well creatinine is released from the kidneys. The calculation of creatinine clearance provides better information than just blood creatinine. To calculate creatinine clearance, a blood and urine sample should be taken. A 24-hour urine sample is required.

Venous blood in the morning in fasting and urine
