Specific IgG results are expressed as relative U/ml or classes 1 to 6 for each tested food product. The higher the value or grade, the more antibodies are detected and the more clinical manifestations are expected. Some of these symptoms are: diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, frequent headaches, depression, poor concentration, arthritis and muscle weakness, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, eczema.
In the case of a positive serological result for antibodies, the doctor or nutritionist recommends a change in the dietary regime, such as a regime of elimination of the given food or a rotational diet. These measures lead to the "calming down" of the immune system caused by the mucosa. Additionally, by eliminating beneficial foods, weight problems may also be favorably affected.

Interpretation:

  • Negative, positive class 1 and class 2 nutritional always cause no clinical problems
  • An unnumbered list of class 3 and 4 positive foods should reduce their intake to 1 time every 4 days for a period of 4 to 6 months. The exceptions are the foods milk, eggs, wheat, and peanuts, which should be eliminated even with a positive result of class 3.
  • An unnumbered list of foods for which a class 5 and 6 positive result was found should be eliminated for a longer period of up to 1 year depending on the food and symptoms. This withdrawal period allows the immune system to recover.
  • It should be borne in mind that not all positive reactions have clinical significance. As with any laboratory result, interpretation should always be made in the context of the patient's history and diagnosis.

*Important:
This is NOT an allergy of the widespread "fast, first" type, with the participation of IgE antibodies!
