Examination for the presence of specific Ig E antibodies (allergy) to Candida. Such an allergy occurs in people with intolerance to other allergens - house dust, molds, brewer's yeast and fermented foods. This is not a test for candidiasis (infection with Candida), which has other clinical manifestations.
