ANDROBALANCE § SPORT Package
General Information
ANDROBALANCE § SPORT Package
Comprehensive hormonal, metabolic and sports performance assessment for actively training men and patients undergoing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)
What is the package?
The Androbalance § Sport package is specially designed for men who train actively, undergo high physical load, or are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). It includes over 30 laboratory parameters providing a complete overview of:
-
hormonal balance
-
muscle metabolism
-
post‑training recovery
-
risk of overtraining
-
reproductive health
-
cardiovascular risk
-
overall physical condition
What does the Androbalance § Sport package include?
1. Complete Blood Count (CBC) – 22 parameters
Evaluates oxygen‑carrying capacity, endurance, inflammation, recovery after physical load, anemia, and general health status. Especially important during TRT for monitoring hematocrit and hemoglobin.
2. Basic Biochemical Parameters
Glucose – Indicates carbohydrate metabolism and energy balance.
AST / ALT – Liver function.
Total Protein – Reflects nutritional status, recovery, and protein metabolism.
Albumin – Main transport protein, essential for hormones, nutrients, and fluid balance.
Urea – Shows protein metabolism and physiological load.
Creatinine – Marker of muscle mass and kidney function.
Uric Acid – Associated with inflammation, physical stress, and risk of gout.
These parameters assess metabolism, physical load, and recovery.
3. Lipid Profile
-
Total Cholesterol
-
HDL
-
LDL
-
VLDL
-
Triglycerides
Critically important for athletes and TRT patients, as testosterone may influence lipid balance.
4. Iron (Fe)
Essential for endurance, oxygen transport, and muscle performance.
5. Male Hormonal Profile
Reproductive and performance‑related hormones:
Prolactin – Affects libido, energy, and hormonal balance.
LH – Regulates testosterone production.
FSH – Related to spermatogenesis and reproductive health.
Estradiol – Important for muscles, joints, libido, and hormonal balance. Critical for monitoring aromatization during TRT.
Total Testosterone – Main male hormone responsible for strength, energy, and muscle mass.
Free Testosterone – Biologically active form — the testosterone that actually exerts physiological effects.
SHBG – Protein that binds testosterone. High SHBG → less free testosterone. Low SHBG → risk of hormonal imbalance.
Free Androgen Index (FAI) – Indicates how much of the testosterone is active. Key parameter in TRT and sports performance.
Testosterone / Estradiol Ratio – Reflects the balance between androgens and estrogens. Important for strength, libido, mood, and athletic performance.
This hormonal block is essential during TRT for monitoring aromatization, androgen balance, and therapy safety.
6. PSA (Prostate‑Specific Antigen)
Monitors prostate health — mandatory for men over 40 and for patients undergoing testosterone therapy.
Who is the package suitable for?
-
actively training men
-
bodybuilders and strength athletes
-
CrossFit athletes
-
runners, cyclists, and fitness enthusiasts
-
men experiencing fatigue, decreased strength or libido
-
men with hormonal complaints
-
men undergoing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)
-
men aiming to optimize their sports performance
Why is the package important for TRT?
TRT patients require regular monitoring of:
-
LH and FSH – pituitary regulation
-
Estradiol – aromatization control
-
SHBG – free testosterone regulation
-
Free Androgen Index – active androgen status
-
PSA – prostate health
-
CBC – hematocrit and hemoglobin
-
Lipid Profile – cardiovascular risk
-
Liver enzymes – therapy safety
-
Creatinine and Urea – kidney function
-
CK (Creatine Kinase) – muscle load (not included in the package)
How is the testing performed?
Preparation:
-
Morning testing recommended
-
No training 24 hours before the test
-
Avoid stress and heavy physical load
Sample collection:
Venous blood sample.
Result time:
Usually within the same day.
